We’re excited to launch the Sustainable Business Network’s new Energy Check project - a free service designed to help small and micro businesses and charities across Surrey cut costs, lower carbon, and build long-term resilience.
This project is funded with support from the National Lottery, and delivered by the Sustainable Business Network at Zero Carbon Guildford (ZCG).
What is the Energy Check?
It’s a practical, one-hour on-site visit with one of our SBN Energy Assessors.
We look at how your business uses energy day-to-day, identify simple savings, and help you understand low-cost improvements that boost comfort, cut bills, and reduce carbon. We’ll also provide recommendations where we identify potential investments to improve costs and sustainability long term.
Participating organisations receive:
A tailored Energy Report with clear energy-and-cost saving opportunities
• Support understanding practical next steps
• A Digital Participation Badge to display on your website and socials
• A chance to be featured in our Spotlight series on LinkedIn
Who Can Apply?
This offer is open to Surrey-based micro and small businesses and non profit organisations. Initially, we’re focusing on smaller organisations with one main site, so the support is focused, practical, and high-impact.
The Energy Check is designed for tenants as well as those who own their premises, with recommendations tailored to your circumstances.
